Satellite Circuit Finals

Helen Davies qualified for the Satellite singles finals at Milton Keynes held on 20 May 2006.  In her semi final Davies easily defeated Katherine Cooper from Norfolk 11-2, 11-2.  Her final opponent was Rebecca Pantaney from Gloucestershire who had defeated her county colleague, Caroline Simpson, to get to the final.  Unfortunately Davies was not able to pull another victory out, going down 11-5, 11-6.

Challenger Circuit Finals

On the Challenger circuit, Gill Dabek had qualified for the mixed doubles with partner Alan Clarkson of Lancashire.  They were also unfortunate to be losing finalists.  In the semi-final they produced excellent play to defeat Danny Hendry and Emma Hendry from Leicestershire 15-12, 15-9 but went down 15-9, 15-4 to England players, Dean George from Hampshire and Mariana Agathangelou from Jersey.
